Guys, I disabled our proximity site and waited. This morning Google was accepting my geocode requests again. So all is well ,for now. We use the http service, so all requests are counted against my client id.
My concern is that someone was attacking our site and that this will happen again. I suppose I am going to have to take the steps to monitor the number of geo code searches we send via the site.
