You're using GGeoXml, so this thread may be relevant (there are others too) http://groups.google.com/group/google-maps-api/browse_thread/thread/9244c38a7b080918 One way to stop it disappearing is probably to use a different KML parser. There's Mike's EGeoXml or Lance's GeoXml. Andrew
