The above is an experimental page to enhance my own (very basic) knowledge of JS and Gmaps, most of it is cobbled together from various examples and the GMap docs. Users can click an icon on the map to show information in the sidebar. Or users can search using the auto-complete to pan and Zoom the map - I would like this stage to show the selected markers info in the sidebar. While this works to a degree I would like to ask for comments about how it has been done. I fear I have misunderstood use of load functions and what how to write the code sensibly. My question: how to refactor this hack into something efficient and expandable? Cheers Mike
