Also, is there a way to show Google Map on a spinning Globe?
For example, the same clickable, zoomable, Google Map in the form of a
spinning Globe up to Zoom Levels 1-2 and then switch to flat map.
Certainly not with the Javascript API. Javascript doesn't have the
ability to distort images other than by stretching the height and width,
so you can't possibly convert the square map tile images into the bent
shape they'd need to be to fit onto a globe.
