I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with this. I have just posted the simple icon example from google to the website I am working on here: http://beta.srobotics.org/?page_id=140. I have opened the website in Google Chrome and in Firefox and both only display the shadow part of the marker for each point. I am using Mac OS X 10.5. I have been trying different examples and they all have the same problem when I place them on my wordpress website. However, when I use google maps normally, or when I go to google's examples the overlays work fine.
