hey guys, i'm trying to use the google maps api as an image viewer. just look at these two samples:
IPPImage - http://merovingio.c2rmf.cnrs.fr/iipimage/showcase/StJohnTheBaptist/ google maps api for liberty city - http://grandtheftauto.ign.com/maps/1/Liberty-City-Map i prefer the liberty city map. my problem is: i have some images that are about 300mb and i wanna view them in detail without downloading the whole image from my server. besides, markers for special locations on the image would be nice, so the gmaps api is perfect (like for GTA) so now: is there a tutorial or something that tells me how to implement such a custom thing? actually it would be awesome to load the current image dynamically, so that it works for a full database of such images -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
