I bet Marcelo read "county" boarders, and not "country" borders in the
original post.

But if you zoom out, you'll notice he DOES include some country
borders (look in South America)

The principle is the same.  If you get the data, it can be displayed,
just as Marcelo has done.  If the original poster is looking for a
command within Google Maps API to do this automatically, it does not
exist.  Work will be required.  But it *can* be done.
