Yep. My bad on the no linky. I know better. Every link to a trip, location page, embedded map, device location page was affected on spotwalla.com, but not necessarily by geo location alone. For me on a Mac w/ OS/X 10.6.3, only Safari exhibited the strange behavior while FireFox and Chrome were fine. Whatever the issues were last night, they appear to have been fixed. The few customers who contacted me have indicated the issues have cleared as they have for me.
I, too, have specified version 2.x. I have no notes on the reasoning, but it's been working for two+ years and, quite honestly, I haven't given it a second thought since.
