I intend setting up a directory type shopping site, and hope to sell advertising to local shops etc. Each will then receive page of details on my site, a locality map as well as a direct link to their own site.
(1) Can Google Maps API be used for this ... putting on lins to various location maps, each with a pointer etc showing the shop concerned. Users of the website, obviously general shoppers will of course have free access to the site and all functions, including the maps Am I correct in assuming, I can do this 'free of charge' (2) How can I disable the option of showing businesses on the maps.
