Hi Everyone I have been following the Creating a Store Locator with PHP, MySQL & Google Maps tutorial. I had a test database to work with just to test if it works and everything was working successfully. However since I put in the correct database of stores something strange is happening. Some of the locations aren't appearing when searched for. You can either type in a postcode or town. It doesn't happen with all the postcodes; only some (and they do have the longitude and latitude)
So for example if I type in a postcode I know is in the database - no results are displayed. They appear when I test it in the xml output by typing in the longitude and latitude in the url. Its odd as most of the stores appear when I type in a postcode and the closest stores are displayed. Does anyone have any ideas why it is happening with only a few postcodes?
