We are alowed to use static maps in mobile appliations. But, most mobile applications are not 'Browser-based'. The application could load the static map dynamically from google and show it on the mobile's 'Display' (not necessarily a browser) and then discard it once the app is closed.
Does any one know if it's okay to use google's static maps in this type of mobile applications that do not use browsers.
