hi, I am student, want to use google static maps on netbeans 6.7.1 for displaying my current position on maps. For that I reads following side it shows how to code it.

Can u suggest me how to start from scrach for developing this application. I don't know about setup poxy server. I have dowloaded google map j2me test zip file and try to run it but nothing happens. I hane taken google API ket for yourdomain.com side. Following are the detail of my projects: I want to use mumbai map having all tourist places located on map in my project. Then want to show current position on that map by manually entering location of user or by GPS. For displaying tourist locations near my current position.
