Hello! Your map app is processed in the client machine (js), so, you can run it in your localhost as you run in another place but you may have an internet connection to download the scripts of the API from Google. About debug, you may have a JavaScript Debuger. I'm using VS2008. :) Sorry for the poor English. Regards
