Hi,

  Pretty much like what the "staticmap" does [1], but called from my 
application page [2] :

[1] 
http://maps.google.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=40.702147,-74.015794&zoom=14&size=512x512&maptype=roadmap&sensor=false
[2] http://myhost/index.html?center=40,74

  Is that possible to do somehow ?
