You need something like this..
http://www.railuk.info/maps/geo_update.php which uses a form and ajax
to geo_store.php:
<?
$lat = isSet($_REQUEST['lat']) ? $_REQUEST['lat'] : '';
$lng = isSet($_REQUEST['lng']) ? $_REQUEST['lng'] : '';
$id = isSet($_REQUEST['details']) ? $_REQUEST['details'] :
'';
include("dbconnection");
MYSQL_CONNECT($site, $username, $password) OR DIE("Unable to connect
to database");
@mysql_select_db( "$dbName") or die( "Unable to select database");
$query = "UPDATE images SET latitude='$lat', longitude = '$lng' WHERE
id = '$id'";
$result = MYSQL_QUERY($query);
?>
