OK feeling stupid so I will post a reply to myself... Mike Williams tutorials mention a relative url is parsed as though on googles own servers.
Which for all intents and purposes means they certainly dont handle relative urls (there parser apparently forgets the source of the KML and handles relative urls incorrectly - this includes the base url and subsquent markers and links in datatips... - all of which are handled correctly by Google Earth and other client side parsers.) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
