If you are interested please send your resume and salary history to [email protected] Feel free to visit our website for more company information: www.columbususa.com Web Developer NASA Goddard Greenbelt, MD US Citizenship required The Web Developer shall work at a senior level and provide a variety of web design and development services to the Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) at the NASA/GSFC facility. In particular the developer shall support the Land Atmospheres Near real-time Capability for EOS (LANCE) system that provides access to data and image information for a number of instruments from the Aqua, Terra, and Aura missions. The effort shall include the design, development and maintenance of web sites, and the generation of interfaces with Web Mapping Services and with Google Earth displays, the implementation of metrics to track data access through the EOS Metric System (EMS), and the support of development and implementation of datacasting services. The effort may require writing material for requirements documents and interfacing with the operators of the LANCE system and the end users for the purposes of generating inputs for the LANCE web site. The incumbent shall also support the ESDIS Coherent Web project for the introduction of standardization into all ESDIS web sites. Education/experience desired: a minimum of a BS and a minimum of 4 years of progressive professional experience designing and developing web sites and interfacing with web services.
