This is entirely possible. Similar enquiries have been made about
Rackspace shared hosting, and mobile networks -- which also proxy
requests through a few external addresses.

A message here *may* be enough (although the Version 3 Group is better
frequented by Google folk). The best solution to geocoding is to get
client browsers to do it, of course, and send the results back to you.
