I can really use some clarification on how I move static data to my
server and continue with the an ADOobject for hourly data.
I have some points in one data set that update daily and other
datasets that update hourly.
I have been getting to all the data with a new
ActiveXObject("ADODB.Connection") in the javascript.
What I want to do is take the daily data and put it in a flat file
because there is no reason to tax the sql server for this data when
the user requests it.
What is the best method to achieve this and what file format is
needed, XML, KML ??????
I am seeing this question asked constantly, not sure I understand the
answers. Is there a schema, file sample a tutorial out there I can
play with?
