The marker gets put where you tell it to go. > how would i create icon exactly on polyline We do not know where you expect it to go, it can only go at one place on the polyline - at one end, at the other end, in the middle? We cannot see how you are working out where to put it. perhaps your calculations are wrong. Can't see you assigning any anchor in your custom icon code, so the default anchor is at bottom-middle of the icon. The anchor is the part of the icon that gets placed over the lat/long you give.
