I get different results when geocoding different versions of the address 4735 gives (-23.5443439, 141.6834275) Winton 4735 gives (-22.3913000,143.0381000) Bing maps puts 4735,AU at (-23.45755,141.790499) which is fairly close to Google's result and around 100 miles away from Winton. Consequently I would guess that 4735 is a peculiar shape and its centre -- which is probably what the geocoders return -- isn't near a major populated place. In fact I've just found this http://www.postcodes-australia.com/postcodes/4735 which would appear to confirm that. What you might do is either: - test for zero results and do another query of your database to get the nearest result to the geocoded position and display that (with the distance) - always query the database for 250miles and only display the results which are within the radius the user specified unless there are none, in which case display the closest with its distance. Which option depends on the number of dealers, I suspect. Is 20 the final number? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
