Well Rosko, my first idea was that my images loaded from our server takes too long and timeout. When I debug all this with Chrome deboguer, i can see that the images take a very long time to load (2 sec.), but the background tiles (the map itself without overlay) load very quickly.
I would like to give you a temporary link but we are moving from a dev server to another and it is not possible to give you nothing except maybe pictures if I can reproduce it today. Doesn't happen really much in the afternoon. It happens more in the morning. Do you think it is possible that google substitute images when it takes too long to load the original image?
