I created a geo sitemap recently using the sample from this post: http://googlemapsapi.blogspot.com/2008/05/geo-search-20-data-in-data-out.html
When I upload my geo sitemap in to Webmaster Tools, however, I get a warning saying that it does not recognize the <geo:geo> tag. After doing some more research and testing, I'm finding that the geo schema that is defined throws a 404 error: <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"; xmlns:geo="http://www.google.com/geo/schemas/sitemap/1.0";> This Google Schema page is throwing a 404: http://www.google.com/geo/schemas/sitemap/1.0 Is this supposed to be happening?
