It wants Silverlight, which I won't have. If your application is as per the blog you gave, you are not using the javascript API. You are using the Google Static Maps service, then drawing polygons over the top of the map image. If there's a problem with the polygon, you'll need to look into the code that does the drawing - that'll be the "ArcGIS API for Silverlight".
