Thanks for looking into Issue 2177, Luke.

I'm not noticing any change in behavior with regard to that bug.

The map loads using the Tiles map type. If you activate either of the
other types of maps, the zoom level is still not set properly.
Activating one of the two word maps a second time does set the correct
zoom level. The same code is executed each time, fired from the
maptypeid_changed event.

Is there a different code-branch I should be referencing to test the
2010/04/26 release?
