Hi, Related with my business I have collected tons of placemarks, put them on excel sheet by manual entering. I have spent my days in the front of the computer while using Google Earth and locate the points by my eye. Then I walked thru the streets and point them by gps locator. So I have spent a great effort to build my placemark database.
So, I have already agreed with a Php/Js developer who will build my website and put this database on the Google Maps Api. He said me that there is no exact solution to protect placemark data from content stealers. Since I have searched the groups, found an article for Google Maps Api v2 that verifying my Developer. http://groups.google.com/group/google-maps-api/browse_thread/thread/3711283587a6937f Aren't there new ways to block those content theft robots in v3? Does Flash Api have some additional tools to prevent copy-cats? May you please share your suggestions here?
