I'm trying to show only state and/or country boundaries on the Satellite map. I'm trying to use StyledMapType to show administrative.country and administrative.province boundaries. But the base map is showing as the generic pale green and white map, not the Satellite map I set when initializing the map. I tried setting baseMapType: to google.maps.MapTypeId.SATELLITE in the styledMapOptions but is has no effect.
What is the best way to show only state and country boundaries on a Satellite map?
