I have a webkit browser that displays a html page with the google maps api v3. I would like to show the map with a "double pixel" and I can easily do that by changing the zoom on my webkit browser.
Has anybody tried using the google maps api with a different "scale"? On my tests I found two problems: 1. When you change the zoom factor from "200%" back to "100%" the map will not fill the div anymore (the google logo and the "tems of use" will adjust their positions accordingly but it seems that the number of map tiles needed will not be recalculated and you will always have some missing on the last column and last row). 2. The marker position will not be precise. I have a Circle and a marker with the same center. When I change the zoom factor the marker will not be on the center of the circle anymore. Updating the position of both after changing the zoom also does not work - their centers will not match.
