Great! This works.

I have this hover code on different places (for the markers on the
map, for the names of the places on the sidebar, ...) and didn't
replace all 10000 by 1E9. Now it works!

Many thanks for your fast response and the time you spent writing this
quick solution (but efficient) demo.
