Hi Marcin... I find myself in the same situation. I don't know about the specific legal issues, although I will let you know as I learn more from Google.
Would you mind sharing an example of how you did the interface? I am also trying to migrate an existing Flex 3 app so that it doesn't use the Flex API, and any direction is greatly appreciated!
