I'm working in a plugin to the CMS SPIP (www.spip.net) wich I named, so imaginatively, 'spicasa'.
http://zone.spip.org/trac/spip-zone/browser/_plugins_/_dev_/spicasa It use the excelent library Lightweight PHP Picasa API. http://cameronhinkle.com/blog/id/3696159074811309536 My plugin is to search and download public and private (with login required, of course) photos and attach these to the article. it's a clone of the one for Flickr.com API, flick_CC. The problem is that Picasa Web API don't have access (or I didn't find the reference) to know the license of each photo, although you can set it from Picasa and it'ss show in Picasa Web. For example, plugin Flick_CC just works with Creative Commons marked photos and I like to do the same with picasa. I think this is a very important feature, because public don't mean public domain, and I want to do the right things. Even more, the SPIP community is highly respectful about license, and the success of my code depends on it. thanks in advance.
