The only thing I have figured out is to use the large thumbnails in the lightbox. To get at the URL of the original sometimes works if you get the media group, then get the content then the url. But there must be some usage rules because first time it will work, second time it won't. I need to investigate that more. But for now the large thumbnails is what I need. I get two thumbnails, '144u,720u' thumb [0] will be the small one and [1] the large one.
