I see that there is a link to why you can't embed images > 800
pixels.  It doesn't really hit the mark though.  It doesn't touch on
"why".

I'm trying to get hold of the full sized images in a Flex app at the
moment, which works in Firefox and Safari for Windows, but not for IE7
as it sets the Referer header in the http request.  At the moment I'm
looking at proxying though squid and "cheating" the system via removal
of this header.  Is there a nicer way anyone can see of embedding full
size images into flex.  Any way I can achieve removal of this header
without proxying?
