Hi, I run a decent sized website that supports in-browser image creation and editing. We are looking to move towards a Creative-Commons based licensing scheme for all content created on our site. Our tool makes it dead simple to remix existing content. We want to provide tools to let our users find content on other sites they can legally remix to create new images.
Flikr's API lets you search for photos released under the CC license. We'd like to also support Picasa, but from what I can see there is no equivalent API for Picasa. I saw some posts here 6-mo ago but no real answers. I see you can search based on licenses via the web interface, though the fine-grained control isn't there (Ex: all CC licensed work w/o ShareAlike). Does the API support this now? Is it coming? -Shane --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Picasa Web Albums API" group.
