I'm currently looking into using the Picasa Web Albums API for a Silverlight project we're working on. From what I understand, there is an crossdomain.xml file at http://photos.googleapis.com/data/crossdomain.xml . Unfortunately, as far as I know, Silverlight (unlike Flash 7+) does not include the ability to specify a cross domain policy file outside of the root directory (such as /data/crossdomain.xml). I've noticed that http://ajax.googleapis.com has one at http://ajax.googleapis.com/crossdomain.xml . As far as I know, there is no work-around for this outside of going through a proxy of some sort.
Is there some reason that the photos one is not in the root directory or can anyone think of a work around for this? It makes me sad inside. :( --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Picasa Web Albums API" group.
