I'm trying to interpret the following language from the terms and conditions and determine if my application is allowed.
5.9 In order to use the Picasa Web Albums API with your service, all End Users on your service must have previously created their own individual Picasa Web Albums accounts. You must explicitly notify End Users that they are accessing their Picasa Web Albums accounts through your service. In other words, you may not create one or more Picasa Web Albums accounts for the purpose of storing images on behalf of users without those users creating their own individual Picasa Web Albums accounts. I own a tennis club and we have matches all summer. I want to have members be able to add a few of the photos they take at matches to the clubs Picasa Web Album. Our purpose is not "storing images on behalf of users" but storing images donated by users to our site for the purpose of sharing among members and promoting the club. We are not selling or otherwise offering a service to members other than the ability to share their photos with other members. While I understand that Google wants to encourage folks to join Picasa and not have one big album for the whole world, even if members have individual albums, they would still want to share photos with the group (sorta like yahoo does with their groups). Also, we don't intend to have too many photos per album because it gets difficult to navigate. I searched, but found no answers to this question. Thanks in advance. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Picasa Web Albums API" group.
