Once a user is authenticated you can query the default user entry with
GET /entry/api/user/default
The response is a fairly compact set of data describing certain
aspects of the user's account,
like current quota limit and bytes used, the URL to the thumbnail
image and also the
PWA user name (in the element <gphoto:user>) as well as the display
nickname (<gphoto:nickname>).

If an authentication is not present in the request, it will fail.
