Hi,

As far as I can tell, by using the python gdata client, picasa adds the 
exif:imageUniqueID tag once I upload an image even though it doesn't exist 
in the original file. Is it described somewhere how that tag is calculated 
(so I could skip uploading if it's already there)?. Of course I could 
create one myself but that seems like a bad idea since I'll probably mess 
it up and make it non-unique... and I'd really like to get this right 
before starting to upload my old 60Gb+ archive.
