I agree, using a single account for a large asset management system is 
dangerous and prone to failure. You will likely encounter concurrency 
errors and/or bandwidth limitations.

Since each user has a separate account in your system, perhaps it's 
possible to use an individual account per user for photo management as 
well. I can help you work through that, if you like.
