I have to agree...

I challenge any reasonable proficient Java developer to write a program to 
retrieve a spreadsheet and update it by looking at the documentation. Even 
the samples

is missing a Spreadsheet sample. Enterprise pays the money, but we are not 
interested in samples for Google+, Pisacsa or Youtube API's.
