Ok so I've been using python's gdata client to insert rows into multiple worksheets in a google spreadsheet. For two days it was working perfectly when I used the gid I found in my spreadsheets url for each worksheet id. Then suddenly I started getting a bad request invalid grid_id error.
I found a thread on how to find worksheet id programmaticly and now I have everything working. My question is, why did the gid work for awhile and then suddenly stop working?? What is a gid and what is a worksheet id? It took me awhile to realize that my grid_id was in fact incorrect because my program had been working fine for two days.
