Hi, I have a list of text which can grow and have unique entries added to it any time. I'd like to have another list which displays the top 5 most frequent occurrences of text in this list.
Assuming that I use column A for my text, I currently use this formula to display the most frequent word. I'm looking to extend this to the top 5. I've searched online and cannot seem to make sense of this. The formula below is irritating enough that I must update it each time I add a new entry to the column but this isn't so much an issue. The column is now getting large enough to warrant manual counting to be quite laborious. =INDEX(A12:A55,MODE(MATCH(A12:A55,A12:A55,0))) Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Spreadsheets API" group.
