That's odd, there is no <bad-auth/> error in XMPP's use of SASL:

The XML looks OK, but it's hard to tell exactly what is happening. I'm 
an admin for the jabber.org server so if you ping me via IM 
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) I can debug with you in real time.
