The only currently Google supported GMail over the air (OTA) contact sync is built-in to the Android HTC G1 mobile phone. Why not extend this capability onto Blackberry phones since you can already sync Google Calendar information with Google Mobile Apps for Blackberry phones? Conjola Sync is the best solution I have found. There are a few bugs but I haven't had a problem, yet.
