SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (SCM) LEAD
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 3 to 6 Months Contract
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems (4+
years of related software configuration management experience may be
substituted for education requirement), and 5+ years software configuration
management experience either working within or managing configuration, change,
and release management processes. Must possess at least 3 years of experience
leading a team.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Build/Release/Configuration
environment
• Demonstrated ability to create a SCM processes for baseline,
incremental and multiple releases
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple code baselines and
build/deliver frequent releases
• Experience working closely with development, configuration, project
management and engineering teams
• Expertise in software configuration management practices and policies
• Expertise in software change and version control management using
industry leading CM tools
• Sound understanding of systems development life cycles
• Experience with source control management systems (Rational
ClearCase, CVS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe Oracle databases)
• Experience in build procedure, including scripting, automation and
compilation tools
• Experience working within a structured software development
methodology
• Ability to develop creative solutions to meet project needs
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent organizational skills and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
DESIRED SKILLS
• Experience with TriZetto Facets product
• Knowledge of and experience with Project Management methodologies
