Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6 months Install, maintain, and operate Windows-based applications on SS7 platform. * Must have experience with SS7, particularly TCAP and ISUP. (Preferably on either SCP, HLR, VLR, or MSC) * Most SS7 apps run on UNIX but these are unique as they run on Windows. * No travel will be involved. * They will be on a rotating on-call basis. * *They will be proactive with monitoring and analysis with multiple KPIs such as trending applications errors. * Must have SQL (PL-SQL) scripting experience/skills at a minimum. Knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, etc. is nice-to-have but not required. * Must be competent coding in Perl language. * Must be expert level with MS Excel - including experience with creating macros and advanced analysis functions. * Must have experience performing detailed analysis of call traffic (e.g., erlangs) and transactional load patterns - e.g., load sharing, failover, etc. * The applications are written in MS languages but he said that it doesn't matter for this role.
