Hi DDickie,

That sounds very strange.
The Google Toolbar can be used to translate a page, but this should
only happen if you click on the translate button.

Could you describe in a little more detail exactly what happens?

Also, if you can let us know what version of the Google Toolbar you're
using, that would also be helpful.
