PLEASE!!! I am in Mexico trying communicate with spanish speaking
people with very poor spanish language skills. I have been using
Google Translate for some time and while the translations are often
incorrect, the site was at least functional and helpful.
THE NEW VERSION SUCKS!
The "on the fly" translation slows down the browser so bad I have to
keep closing my browser and starting over... I used to be able to use
the translator for quick translations copied and pasted to and from a
chat window... now that is impossible, the webpage just locks up and
actually slows down my whole computer.
Also, the layout is horrible... the side by side translation was
perfect. What were you thinking? Modern computers have wide screens,
not long screens top to bottom... I am constantly scrolling now.
I am actively searching for a better translator and will abandon
Google translate as soon as I find a workable option.
