Hi, I represent a software company providing end2end SaaS solution for Tour Operators around world. This solution includes E-commerce website, Booking Engine & Back Office system.
We already provide translation of the UI labels to different languages, but the data that is entered by the user (e.g. hotel description) is inputted in a single language and is not translated when displayed on the UI. We would like to make a use of the Google translate API for the purpose of translating user entered data before displaying it on the UI. My questions: 1. Is there any restriction using the Google translate API for commercial purposes and to integrate it to a software that is used by different customers around the world? 2. If I need to translate 30 separate description lines simultaneously (each containing up to 250 characters), do I need to generate 30 separate API requests? (an example for this would be a hotel search query that returned 30 hotels and I now need to translate their description from English to Spanish) Thanks, Itamar. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
