Cantonese should be treated like another language because it has
different lexical and grammar with Mandarin.
I've read other threads about Cantonese in here and found
"Cantonese is a spoken dialect of Chinese, but that the Chinese
written language
is the same whether you speak Cantonese or Mandarin"

I tell the real situation about Cantonese, Mandarin and written
language in here.
In serious writing, such as documents and newspaper, people use
Standard Chinese, which is based on Mandarin grammar.
However, in personal time, such as blog writing and internet chatting,
many people write in Cantonese grammar, that is, written Cantonese.

Google translate can't even handle a sentence of written Cantonese.
